Clock Zero Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Clock Zero, published by Wolfgang Engineering, handles information. Clock Zero displays an animated mechanical clock, customizable materials, a Home-screen widget and a live wallpaper.
Information processed on your device
Clock Zero uses your device’s local time and time zone to display the time. Screen dimensions, visibility and power state are used locally to render and run the clock. Your appearance, sound, brightness and display choices are saved in private app storage. Generated artwork and rendering metadata are also stored locally as needed for the widget and wallpaper.
While the live wallpaper is visible, device-orientation sensor information is processed locally to compensate the clock hands for how you hold your phone. The app does not transmit these readings to Wolfgang Engineering. Operational diagnostics, including orientation readings, rendering and settings state, may appear in Android’s local system log.
Collection and sharing
Clock Zero makes no app network requests and does not intentionally transmit user data to Wolfgang Engineering. The reviewed release does not request Internet access. It has no advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs or remote crash-reporting services, and no account system. Clock Zero does not sell user information or share it with advertising companies.
Permissions and Android services
Clock Zero does not access location, contacts, the camera or the microphone, and does not browse your personal files or photos. Ticking audio is generated locally; the app does not record audio. Orientation processing does not require a sensitive runtime permission.
Android’s widget and wallpaper services display the clock on your Home screen at your request. The wallpaper service’s binding permission and Android’s internal receiver protections control system integration; they do not grant access to your personal photos, microphone or location.
Storage, backup and deletion
Local settings and generated artwork remain in private app storage until replaced or removed. Clock Zero has no publisher-operated storage service. Android or your device’s backup and transfer services may include app data according to your platform settings. Those services are controlled by the operating system and your backup provider, rather than by Clock Zero.
You can clear Clock Zero’s storage in Android Settings or uninstall the app to remove its local app data. This removes saved customization. Manage any platform backups through your device or backup provider’s settings. Clock Zero has no user account or publisher-held account to delete.
