A quick guide to the clock, wallpaper and widget.
Find your way around
Clock Zero is an Android mechanical clock app with a live wallpaper and a Home-screen widget. Tap the clock to reveal Dim, Switch, sound and Settings controls. Switch changes between Normal Clock and Full Clock View. The controls hide again after a few seconds.
Add and resize a widget
On most Android launchers, touch and hold an empty area of your Home screen, choose Widgets, then find Clock Zero and place it. Touch and hold the widget to resize it using your launcher's handles. Sizes from 1 × 1 through 4 × 4 depend on the launcher and available space. Tap the widget to open the app. Widget gears are static; the hour and minute hands show the time.
Set the live wallpaper
Open the app's customization controls and choose Set as live wallpaper to open Android's wallpaper preview. Confirm the wallpaper using Android's controls. You can also find Clock Zero through your device's live wallpaper chooser. Available Home/lock-screen choices depend on your device. Use the wallpaper brightness setting to adjust its appearance.
Customize the materials
Tap the clock, open Settings, then choose an appearance preset or Custom Builder. The builder lets you change the hands, inside frame, outside frame, gears, background and screws. Review the live preview and return to the clock. Preferences are saved locally. The widget follows supported accents on the hand borders, outside frame and screws; it does not apply every six-part finish.
Sound and display
Use the sound control to enable or mute ticking, and Dim to adjust the clock's appearance. The live wallpaper has its own brightness setting. If widget placement or resizing differs from these instructions, follow your launcher's widget controls.
